EVENT RULES

In order to keep the event fun and safe for everyone, we have a few rules that participants and spectators must follow, and a few points to remember:

1. Dogs must be leashed and controlled at all times. Dogs participating in events may be unleashed as they complete the event.

2. You MUST clean up after your dog. Poo bags and trash cans will be available at the festival.

3. Be kind and be a good sport to other participants and your dog! This event is just for fun. Dogs make mistakes too, there's no need to yell at or strongly punish your dog if things don't go as planned.

4. Remember that even though your dog may be friendly, some dogs are not. Do not let your dog rush up to other dogs without the owner's permission.

5. Always ask the owner's permission to pet their dog. Some dogs are easily startled and even though it's Halloween, we don't want to spook anybody!

6. Please keep costumes appropriate! This event is family friendly for all ages.

7. Dogs attending the event must be up-to-date on all vaccinations. If you have a puppy younger than 16 weeks old, attend the event at your own risk as puppies do not receive their final round of vaccines before 16 weeks. Bringing a young puppy can expose them to pathogens that can result in illness.
